Joint-Stock Company Cherkasy Khimvolokno is one of the largest manufacturers of viscose yarn
in the world Cherkasy Khimvolokno started its operation in 1961 to produce viscose rayon filament yarn.

It consists of three production lines: two lines with total capacity 11 tons per year were commissioned
in 1961 and 1963 to manufacture viscose yarn of centrifugal process.

Third production line with total capacity 5 000 tons per year was commissioned in 1971 to manufacture
viscose yarn of continuous process

Centrifugal process includes the following operations: - viscose preparation - viscose yarn spinning on
centrifugal spinning machines - finishing - drying - winding - packing of finished products Continuous
process includes the following operations: -viscose preparation -spinning, finishing and drying of viscose
yarn on continuous spinning machines -winding - packing of finished products

Total land area: 1 700 000 square meters
